Become A Mentor

Welcome to Otolo, the European socially funded mentoring scheme aimed at uplifting and progressing the future careers of hospitality professionals. The service is completely free for both mentors and mentees and our only purpose is to ensure we keep hospitality staff within the industry and teach them the needed skills to build highly successful careers.

What’s expected from a mentor?

Two hours per month for a six month period. One hour to spend with your mentee, 30 minutes prior to your call to create discussion points and 30 minutes post call to review and provide feedback. All calls are to be conducted via video within the Otolo platform.

Our Otolo Mentor Guide provides an outline of how to make the most of the time you spend with your mentee. It provides preparation techniques, initial conversation ideas and tips on how to set goals. In addition to your time, our Otolo trained coaches will provide a two-hour masterclass and a further six hours of coaching throughout the six-month period designed to help mentees explore and set goals, discuss progress and improve confidence.
